It has been John’s lifelong passion to create beautiful furniture for himself and now for others.

As a young boy, by watching his father, John gained the skills necessary to build and renovate using timber. His father renovated many homes and rebuilt furniture for a living, being highly respected in his field.

At intermediate school, John chose woodwork as a subject and made all sorts of things that these classes teach: teapot stands, bread boards and an assortment of pieces for his Mother. Then following on at technical college, John expressed his artistic talent in the making of timber creations of a larger size.

John and a friend built a 32 foot timber yacht with all internal fittings of mahogany and kauri making a beautiful show piece.

Creativeness has run through John's veins since day one. Whether it be creating furniture items, or turning bare earth into beautiful gardens, once his creative touch has been applied, you can not only see the warmth and beauty, but feel it also.

So was established his love of creating unique masterpieces.

John is now crafting a selection of furniture for your home and workplace. Bring in your own drawing or John can design something for you. The furniture he creates is expected to last many generations.

A unique range of elegant timbers is available for you to choose from. Each piece is finished with oil and then sanded between coats. The finish on each piece of furniture accentuates the grain of the timber and the beauty of the design.
